Elder Collins

Crazy stuff and then some....
Well this week was pretty great. We had 2 baptisms of two golden children. haha. Thats all they were teaching before i got here. We have been looking for new people and families like crazy. We have found a couple and are helping them prepare for baptism. I did a work visit with Elder Richardson this week which was pretty fun. I had like a million flash backs of the mtc with him (Trunky). I saw Nick a few times this week and i think i called him like 10 times. I always call for a question that i have thats really simple and then we end up talking for like 20min. haha. The zone is doing better. We have 14 missionarys in all in the zone. Before i got here there was some things that were happening in which no one was baptizing! I dont know what they were thinking before. I dont blame my comp a lot because he only have 5 weeks more than me as zone leader so its more of his old comps fault which is now nicks new companion haha. The zone had 5 baptismal dates when i got here and now there is 12 so were seeing some progress. I realized last night that i need to rely way more on the Lord than what im doing now. Well like you know the mission is splitting. I just found out saturday night!! i cant believe it! Its been so crazy with rumores here my head is going to explode. Pres. Blunck just sent an email saying that he wants all the missionarys in Lima to go to the offices wed to explain whats going to happen. Pretty much everyone wants to go to the Jungle and so he wants those who want to stay in lima to tell him. I dont think ill get much say but if i do i dont know what to choose! im a jungle boy but i want to be in the same mission as nick! I wont lie its so crazy, i  have so many things in my head, its not all fun and games being a zone leader haha!! oh boy. Well i love you all and hope your all doing fandantastic. Love reg

Elder Crump

Hey family and Friends,
So this was a great week but I had to do the hardest part of my job here in the offices...I had to send missionaries home early.  Seriously, It was such a sad feeling to have to buy their tickets and take them to the airport.  Just yesterday we sent home 2.  One because of some things that he didnt get taken care of before the mission, and the other because the they got sick, and for their health and safety have to return.  It really was rough.  Because the one that was sick DID NOT want to leave.  She was crying, and seriously it was so hard to do. So last night we were in the Airport until about 1:30 a.m. waiting for her plan to leave.  The good news is that she made it home safely and hopefully in a couple months she can come back!  I hope she can. She was a great missionary, and she so wants to finish her mission.  I seriously love hearing stories about missionaries returning on their missions.  It doesnt matter what the reason was why they left, but it just depends on the decisions they make after.  It really is an amazing experience to see how much a testimony can grow in a person when they go through a trial like that.  The Elder that had to go home was really sad too, but him as well wants to come back, and that is the greatest thing to hear.  So it was a sad experience, but if they can make it back this experience will strengthen their lives forever.
So this week has been great because a saw Reg a couple times! He is doing great! Seriously a BORN LEADER!  He really just wants to do what's best for his zone, and that is really the key to a great Zone Leader.  I'm excited to see the success he will have, he is gonna rock it!
So last week as you know we have the changes, but the problem was we still had 16 extra missionaries with us in the mission.  What happened was originally our changes were on 19th of Feb, but because of the increase in missionaries, they cut our changes short by one week this change. But the problem was we had already bought the tickets of those missionaries finishing their missions for the 19th, so they had to be stuck in threesomes their last week of the mission.  OH BOY WAS IT A MAD HOUSE!  So the thing is when missionaries finish in the Jungle, they have to come to Lima a couple days early because they have a final interview with the President.  Then they have a final dinner with a slide show, and all that jazz with the president.  So we had 5 come in from the Jungle, and they were all so TRUNKY! ( SO READY TO GO HOME)  It was so frustrating! haha  So luckily, we got all their interviews done, but the problem all came when they had the final dinner.  So after the dinner, its a monday night, and normally all the missionaries sleep either in offices with us or in a missionaries house near by, because they all have to leave early in the morning.  So we sent 3 off right after the dinner to the airport just fine because they were flying out that night, then the next morning we had 13 more leaving.  !2 in plane and one in a bus!  So this is how it all went down.  We had about 8 elders in our house that night 5 others in other houses.  But the problem was is they all were leaving at different times.  So i had like 10 different transportation's set to pick up drop off.  So at about 5, I had and Elder Leave to go to Chile, but at about 7 get a phone call saying he has too much weight in his bag and needs to pay like 70 dollars, which he doesnt have.   So I had to call the airlines and tell them to make a tab, and the area of the church will pay them later. Its nice because we have a contract with this airline company  So with him it was all good, he got on his plane and headed off.  At about 7:30 we sent off 6 more missionaries traveling all over Chile, Guatemala, Costa Rica, and another part of Peru. The night before I might add, we explained to the missionaries about how much weight they can have, but they don't like to listen...so at about 9:30, i get a phone call saying that 2 more elders going to Guatemala and Costa Rica are over weight and need to pay like 70 dollars as well. But the problem is we need to pay within the next 15 minutes or they cant get on board!!  I WAS LIKE WHAT!!!!!!!!!!!!  So we hurried and called the airline to do the tab thing, but with this airline we dont have a contract!  So I hurried and called the area, and luckily there was a member, who is a bishop that works at the airport that came down real fast and paid for the both bags.  He got there like 2 minutes before they closed the gate!  Seriously, we were so blessed!  So in the meantime, I sent off 3 more elders to the airport one to Columbia, and 2 to Peru.  But they thng is, I sent them off fairly early. They elders going to another part of Peru left like 3 hours before their flight left, but for the Colombian it was like 4 1/2 hours before. So we send them off and all is good.  It's about 12:30, and I still didnt get a phone call with problems so I was pretty happy!  Then it got to be about 1:30 and no one called, so I was so happy because they all made it!! right?  Wrong!  Just at that moment, I get a call from the Colombian, who by the way was super angry, saying he has a problem.  At first i was like please just tell me your flight has been delayed, but no he missed his flight!  I was like HOW? You were there like almost 5 hours early! haha He said that one of his converts came and he got to talking with him, and then a bunch of members of his ward came to say good bye, and he forgot about the time.  He tried to go through security and Imigrations like 20 minutes before his plane was going to leave, and they wouldn't let him through! haha  So I told him to just stay in the airport, and he had to wait till about 7 to catch the next flight.  So we waited and we had to pay a penalty fee...but at 7:30 he left.  But the thing is once he gets to Columbia, he needs to wait in the airport to catch his next plane which will take him to his hometown.  So we all had a little laugh.  I was a little mad, but glad that he got on board.  You think it would end there, but no i get another phone call from him now in Columbia saying that he needs to pay another penalty fee.  So i called and did the tab thing, and then 10 minutes later he calls to tell me he missed his second flight!!  At this point you can imagine my thoughts!!!  I was like elder what are you doing!  You had a another 5 hour wait for your next plane in Columbia. He told me that his left the airport to go visit a friend in Bogata and when he tried to come back in, they wouldnt let him.  Then his plane left. AHHH! So I had to call Columbia, explaining what happened.  After a long chat, he was able to board the next flight.  Oh boy was such a stressful night, I didnt sleep at all!  But that wasn't even the worst part.  I had to call his mother to tell her that her son will be coming home a little later than planned...like a day! haha Man I was so scared to call her!  I just imagined mom, if I were to miss my flight home, how crazy she would be! haha  I love you mom.  Don't worry, that's how all moms are!  But the good news is she wasn't mad, and the Elder made it home.  So that was the story of the week! haha

Through all that craziness, I still found this week to be great! I love being here.  This new job is hard and stressful, but Im glad that I'm here, and I'm really learning a lot.  It's all worth it in the end when you get to see them make it home with honor, or when you get to see them make it through their trial.  It's a blessing to be here, and I'm grateful for the opportunity.

So i think this might on been that longest email ever, but on the missionary side, Milton is a no go...we had to let him go. He just wasnt progressing, and with our limited time, we need to focus on the people who will follow through with their commitments, and decide to make the changed in their lives. Its always hard for me to let someone go, but maybe it just not his time.  We have been able to go up and teach a little bit more which is such a stress reliever, and we have a couple new families!  Hopefully we´ll be able to keep meeting with them.

Family, Friends, I do love you guys so much! You guys are so wonderful! I'm so happy to hear all is going good! Kenzie Happy Birthday!! I hope you have the best day ever!!!!

All my Love,

ELDER NICOLAS COLLINS CRUMP

Elder Collins

Well crazy stuff, crazy stuff. So this week ended up being transfers. My ZL told me that i was going to train again. I was kind of bummed but then accepted it. So we went to the stake center to announce the changes and my zone leader just got up and said everything will be the same...except E. Collins is going to Lima! What?! i didnt expect that at all. I got really excited but also sad to leave Sisinio and Hna nancy. I didnt know where i was going or anything only that i was going to Lima. So i packed all night and said goodbye to sisinio and his family cried a bit and went to Lima at like 8 in the morning. When i got out of the car that picked me up out walks Elder Crump!! haha i gave him the biggest hug! almost a year without seeing him and we are in the same mission. and then next out walks Elder Fenn! He was leaving to his area so he gave me a hug and said "ill see you tomorrow"  and i look at E. crump to know what that means and he just says "ill explain later" After a little bit one of the assistants says Elder Collins your comp is on his way to pick you up and you are the new zone leader in the zone comas!!  wow i really didnt expect that at all. Nick was just laughing. We spent most of the day together which was awesome! The next day was zone leader conference so thats what fenn meant because he is zone leader to, so then we walked in to see who is training and there is E. Richardson..Im together with my group again. My new comp is Elder Ojeda from Bolivia, la paz. Hes is really cool. At first i thought he was really rough but then i realized he is really sarcastic. So we are zone leaders in the zone comas. We have 2 areas! La Mar, and Libertadors. The ward La mar is awesome, its like a dream ward for missionarys and its thanks to the bishop. We are like 10 min from the offices so i see nick once a week. Also i have a cell phone now so i can pretty much call him whenever i want and bug him haha!!! ill call you too haha, nah! My zone is pretty great. Elder richardson in a district leader in the zone.  Its been struggling but hey im here to get it to the celestial kingdom!!! Ive already changed a few things, i kind of just assumed i could do that haha. Im just focusing a lot on how to help the zone now. Its weird to be in lima. The restaurants are awesome but i sure do miss the clean junlge air. city life is different but i know ill adjust again. Pretty nuts I love you all and hope your all good. Ill definitly need your prayers. Love reg

Elder Crump

So familiy and Friends hows it going!? I hope great?  So this past week we had the changes, and I have one word to describe myself...TIRED!  haha seriously I didn't sleep for like 3 days!  But for some reason, I always had energy every day!  Seriously, it was so awesome!  But here is how it all went.  So as you guys know president gave us the changes like 3 days before, so i had to go crazy again with all the flights!  And this time we had so many changes, and we got it total of 33 new missionaries! WOW it was a crazy day!  Seriously, and I'm super jealous because like all the new missionaries went to the jungle, becuase we are opening up new areas.  In Tarapoto we used to have 14 missionaries in that area, now there is 18! Seriously, the mission is growing! By June we will be going crazy with the mission work, and we just found out that our mission has the most baptisms in the north west part of South America.  It was pretty cool, because the area was talking about how they love our mission focus...THE FAMILY!  That's all we work on is baptizing families!  And it really makes the difference!  Because when your baptized with the family, your more likely to stay active because you have people to go with you and to strengthen you!  It was pretty cool to hear that were doing good, I'm just excited for what this year has to bring with all the new people coming in.  So everything was just a nut house, but we did it!  It was nice because I had done it before, but this time I was alone!  It was crazy, but we got it done, and presidente was very pleased with our work.
So to answer a couple questions.  No President a scary guy at all, I just feel bad because it was so late, and he works so hard, and so much.  But it really was the only option, and in the end he was very happy, and is glad that I'm doing my job.  This week has been rough in the Missionary Teaching part.  Its been driving me crazy!  I really just want to go teach, and find more people, but sometimes we have to make sacrifices.  Its ok though, i know that these next couple of weeks will be a lot more calm, and we will be able to go back and teach!  And were still working with Milton.  We talked with him and he wants to make the commitment, so we will just have to see if he comes on Sunday!

So i have the best news in the world!  So like i said we had the changes, and guess who got there change!!!!!!  ELDER COLLINS!!!!!!!!!!!  I feel bad telling you before he tells you, because my P day is before his, but i just cant wait!!  HE IS A ZONE LEADER IN LIMA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I'm so excited!!  Seriously, seeing him after about a year was the best!  I ran up to him and gave him the biggest hug!  Then we got to hang out for a couple hours during all the changes!  He looks good.  He lost a little weight like everyone in the Jungle, but in Lima he sure be getting it back! haha  But really I'm so excited for him! His Area is awesome, and his companion too!  I'll let him tell you guys the rest on Monday, but just know that Los Primos are back in black...pants and white shirts, and ties.  Haha

So anyway Happy Valentines day! I almost forgot, this day is the saddest for those missionaries!  One here in the mission just got a dear john...yep like 3 days before Valentines day...he cried..poor guy!  But yes mom i did get your package, and ITS LIKE YOU KNOW ME!  Seriously the MAGIC SLUSHY is the coolest thing ever! All the elders in the offices want one!  Seriously they are so jealous!  They want something from Momma Crump! haha, they all send their love!

And Most importantly  i want to say..HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Well just a little bit early, but hey i love you so much!  I hope you have the best birthday ever. You are the greatest mom in the world, and I am so grateful for all that you do for me. Seriously, it is incredible how wonderful you are, and how much love you have for each of your children.  I am so honored to be your son! I know sometimes I might of been a pain, but i am so grateful for your patience, and your example you have always shown.  Mom your amazing, never forget that.  Know how much i love you, and I wish you the best birthday wishes!

So here is a little bit about my comp.  His name is Elder Hernandez, and is from Chile, yep another one from chile, he is my 5th Chileno companion! haha but its kind of funny. Because what really happened is his dad is from Venezuela, and he married a lady from chile, and then they moved to Venezuela, for a couple years, then Argentina.  Then right before my comp was born, they went to the United States for about 2 years, and just before my comp was about to be born, they moved back to Venezuela.  So he almost was a Gringo.  He lived there for 5 years, then they moved to Chile, and then Argentina.  Then right before his mission he went back to Chile, so he came into the mission as a Chileno...haha but really i don't know what to call him.  Haha, no but he is awesome.  Elder Ferreryra, my ex comp, actually trained him! haha it was a crazy story! What happened was he actually was here in the mission, but about a month into the mission he had to go home to get surgery and couldn't come back for 9 MONTHS!  Wow, so when he came back he got trained by Ferrerya, then after about 2 changes with him he got put as District Leader.  Then when he hit his 5 months he got made a ZONE LEADER! He was the youngest zone leader in the mission! It was awesome!  So i have know him for a while.  When i heard he was going to be my comp, oh boy i got so excited and so did he!  Its gonna be awesome with him!

So family and friends, I do love you guys so much!  Everyday, even to this day I learn something new!  It doesn't matter how long you have been in the mission or where you are at or what position you have we need to stay humble, and be willing to learn.  I have learned and infinite amount of patience.  I thought I was a patient person before but it is nothing compared to now.  I know this next change will be great, and I'm excited that i get to see my cousin now!

All my Love,

ELDER NICOLAS COLLINS CRUMP

Carnaval Carnaval Carnaval!!!
Hey family does myles have a mustache?, well this week was carnaval. It was crazy. I was in Lima last year and that was nothing compared to what i saw yesterday. I dont know why Carnaval exists and neither does anyone else that i asked i think its just another party! What they do is they throw colored mud, water or whatever type of thing at you and at whoever is in the streets, they put up palm trees in the middle of the streets filled with prizes or gifts. They all drink dance and throw water balloons at each other until 6 and everyone takes turns chopping down the tree and when it falls every just runs at it grabbing whatever they can. I had to walk around with a serious look on my face the whole day because if i didnt they grab you and pull you into their mud pit and put water all over you and then try to dance with you. I only got a couple of water balloons thrown at me and half a bucket of water. Not too shabby. Well this week we had conference with president Blunck. I wont lie, it was kind of boring. I like it when President Blunck talks to us a lot and this time he hardly spoke. We have been working with a family lately.Denis and Gloria. They are married so that helps a lot. They have a  little boy who is 7.. (dang it). They have accepted baptism and were just working with them. There biggest problem is attending church. They like to sleep. Yesterday was terrible day to try to get people to attend we didnt have anyone attend. There is a rumor there might be transfers today..a week earlier because there is like 30 new missionaries entering the field. If thats true pray for me because the rumors have it that im staying and that im training again!!! PUchi kana!! what the heck!!  Well we will see? Well sam good luck with your afro. Love you all have a great week love reg!
P.S. Oh and Happy Valentines Day!!!!!

Elder Crump

First off happy birthday Korban!!  I hope it was a good one buddy!   Im still waiting for your letter! haha.

Well family this week was a good one.  The only problem is Milton still didnt get baptized!  It was frustrating.  We met with him the night before to plan everything out, and he was excited and ready.  But then we get there in the morning and he isnt there then we get a call, and he got called into work at the last minute, and he isnt going to make it! AHHH!!  I was pretty sad, but were going to go and plan for hopefully this next week!  We really just need to help him understand the importance of the Sabbath day.  It really is the Key out here. So many missionaries baptize just to baptize, but if they aren't truly converted or understand why we need to come to church every week, then what's the point.  That is our goal this week for him, to help him make the  decision to keep the sabbath day.  Until he can do that, i don't think he will be baptized.  But i have faith that Heavenly Father will help him and if all is right, he will be baptized soon!

Family, Friends, i hope all is well.  This past week has really been quite crazy.  So the other night at about 9:30 as i was just about to shut down my computer and go back to the house, I get a email from the Airline company here in Peru saying that one of the assistants flights has been canceled for there flight in the next morning to Iquitos.  I was WHAT!!  HOW?  So right away I get on the phone and start to call. I waited on hold for about a 45 minutes until someone finally answered!  And there answer was...Um i don't know! Haha, oh man i was nervous.  So then i got transferred to another line waited about another 20 minutes or so, then i received the horrible news that not only the assistant's flight got cancelled but President's and His wife's as well!!!!!!!!  As you can imagine, i was freaking out!!!!  So i hurried and got back on the line calling to figure out what happened, and finally someone had an answer for me.  The plane that was originally scheduled to leave broke down, and they are doing repairs.  There isn't another plane to take it's place, so that whole flight just got cancelled!  But the real problem was is President had important meetings that day and needed to be in Iquitos early.  So the lady told me the next flight to Iquitos would leave at 1 pm!  I felt so sick because that's when his first meeting started was a 1 pm!  So i got to talking to the assistants on what we should do.  It all came down to i had to call President and tell him what had happened, and find out what he wanted to do.  But i might add, it was about 11:45 p.m. at this time!  I was so nervous! I really didn't want to call.  So i went into the other room said like 10 prayers, and then called him.  Yeah i totally woke him up and explained to him what had happened.  It was ok, he was happy that i called him right away.  He chose to take the 1 pm flight.  I apologized again for calling so late.  So yeah i got it all taken care of, but i still felt bad for waking him up.  But the good news is, he called me the next day at about 7:00 a.m. thanking me for my work that im doing, and is grateful that i was here and am doing a good job.  So it all turned out to be good, and everyone is happy.

I'm glad things are going good for Lexi.  She is a wonderful girl and deserves to be happy.  She is smart, and what ever she decides it will be the right one.  She knows how to put the Lord first in her life, and he will help her in whatever she chooses!  Tell her I miss my best friend, and still waiting for a letter.  It's been too long!

Well family and Friends, i hope all is well!  I am so glad that Mia is doing great and recovering.  She sounds like such a sweetie!  I want pictures please!  Im going to be sending out letters today!  So friends, Kenzie Holmes, Hailey, and Devon, and many others you'll be getting a letter soon!
Today we are going bowling! I'm excited!  I'll let you know how it goes mom! Haha

All my Love,

Elder Collins

Ya Pues...
Well this was a dandy week! We had a baptism on saturday and i also baptized an invetigator of two other Elders in my district. Almendra Chavez was baptized, she is the daughter of Hna Lijia and the sister of jefry who we baptized about a month ago. Now the family is complete! She has actually changed a lot in the past month or so that she has been learning. She used to be somewhat of a bad child. A problem for her for awhile was that she didnt think that she could be forgiven. But she is all good now and is happy and her mom I think is more happy than her. This week was kind of hard with my comp. He has really changed the last 2 weeks. I dont know what is going on. We went to the bank to get our transport money and he decided that he wanted to keep half of it for his personal transport (when he doesnt feel like walking or if its hot outside.) I just kind explained to him that thats not how the transport works and that the money he has is sacred and is tithing of someone else and just using it like its nothing is wrong. He tried to tell me his health is bad and his legs hurt and he heard thats sign that your kidneys are bad? He just kind of started murmuring like a child or like laman and lamuel. I just told him look maybe you dont understand but you have a family or church members paying 400 dollars a month so that you can be in the mission and you need to respect this money as tithing and remember your legs are for the lord right now. He just got upset mumbled some things under his breath and got quiet. But its all good now. I just think he needs to mature (even though hes 27) and I probably could be a little bit more chill too. (maybe walk slower?) Finally one of the family's that we have been teaching attended church this week. I think that with every lesson we had with them this week I tied church attendance in. They are Denis and Gloria. They are married so thats awesome! Were just working to put some baptism dates down now. Funny story for this week, yesterday we were singing the hymn while preparing the sacretment the lady leading the hymn just stopped everyone and said we needed to start over again because no one was following her! I was like what the!.... haha. Well I love you all have a fantastically magical week. Loves reg

Elder Crump

YOU HAD A BABY!!! I HAVE NEVER BEEN SO EXCITED WHEN I READ THAT EMAIL!  Wow seriously, that blows my mind!  Trev, Kenz your parents....Wow, that is so awesome! Seriously!  I can't wait to see her, please send pictures!!  Wow, I have 2 nieces and a nephew...I feel old...but I LOVE IT!  So if anyone else feels like they want to join the baby club...(corrine...brady), go right ahead right now is the perfect time because by the time someone would have their baby, I will be home! That's right, i will be home in 9 months!!! Crazy huh?  But really I'm so happy for you guys!  Mia Collet sounds like the perfect name!  Aunt Collete, I'm sure loves it!
So this week has been pretty good!  As you know my comp has been recovering from surgery, which don't worry mom, i know what it is, but it is kind of personal to say in an email...i think you can imagine what it might be.  But anyway he is doing great and recovering just fine!  We have been able to go up to work a couple times this week, but we just walk very slowly and take taxis! haha  So i have some good and bad news.... So the bad news is Milton didn't get baptized this past week...He had so many finals that he didn't have time, and he went and stayed with his aunt who lives near his college for the weekend to study and prepare.  We were a little sad, but the good news is he is still getting baptized!!!  This sunday!!  He wrote it in his planner and is so excited and ready!  Its been a long road for him, but he really has come so far!  So next week you´ll be getting a bunch of pictures!

So i just found out that I'm going to be getting a new companion!  Elder Paucay is finishing his mission in 3 months. so president is releasing him as a secretary, and letting him go out into the field!  I'm gonna miss him, but I'm super excited to who my new comp is going to be!!! He is awesome!  Seriously!  He has been my friend in the mission for a while!  He just found out yesterday, and he was a little bummed at first, like everyone, but is excited that we get to be comps!!!  I'll let you know how it goes, and I'll tell you more about him next week.  Wish me luck, he comes into the offices tomorrow!!!

So what to say about this week... nothing too much happened to be completly honest.  We are preparing to have the changes in a couple weeks, so i have been doing everything i can to be ready.  I was a little bit more calm, but now the president told me that he is gonna give me like 4 days to do all the changes and buy all the flights.  It's gonna be a crazy week! Plus there is like 16 missionaries finishing, and we're getting like 25 new missionaries!  You can already see the progress in the missionary work, we used to get like 15 missionaries at the most, but now every change, like more than 25!

So even though we haven't had too much time to work with my comp in my area, I have been going up with the other secretaries in there area, as well as mine.  We take turns who has to stay back with my comp! Haha, but the other day we met with one of the investigators from the other secretaries ward.  Her name is Ofelia.  She has been meeting with the missionaries for 3 years, on and off.  All of her brothers and sisters are members, her husband, and even all her kids.  She is the only one missing!  It really has been hard on her family. She has her son that has been out in the mission and is finishing this April.  She has always had so many doubts, and never really felt welcome. But these past 6 months, she has been coming to all the activities, and the members have been so amazing to her! They are her friends, and now she feels like this is where she needs to be.  So the other night we committed her to be baptized and she said YES!  She says that her son writes her week telling about his experiences, and all the FAMILIES that get baptized and sealed together.  He always says that his only wish is that one day his mom will baptized so their family can be sealed.  She broke down into tears saying how grateful she is for her son and his MANY prayers for her.  He never gave up on her, and now she has her date set and she is getting Baptized in February. Her son still doesnt know, but she is doing it on his birthday and is going to send him the pictures as a present.  It seriously was a cool experience to see how strong her testimony is, and how grateful she is for those members who made her feel welcome, and for her son who never gave up on her.
